Bitter almonds

How can you avoid food poisoning?
You can avoid food poisoning, if you avoid eating bitter almonds. Bitter almonds are bitter because they contain cyanide. The taste of bitter almonds is unpleasant. Bitter almonds can be fatal, too, if they're consumed in large quantities. Why? Because bitter almonds cause cyanide poisoning. Why? Because they contains amygdalin, which is a cyanogenetic glycoside which, when mixed with digestive enzymes, splits to hydrogen cyanide, sugar, and benzaldehyde.

Hydrogen cyanide is a poison, because it blocks the cytochrome oxidase enzyme, which prohibits the oxidation process of tissues, and therefore the tissues die of oxygen starvation.

You can avoid food poisoning, if you are aware of the fact that 60 pieces of bitter almonds (in adults), or 10-15 pieces of bitter almonds (in children), cause cyanide poisoning.

The problem is represented by canned foods that didn't get cooked at 250 °F for three minutes. The problem is, you can get food poisoning and die, due to the botullinum (botox) toxin that has a positive role in self-improvement.

The issue is, when it's in the food, about one microgram of it is lethal to humans. Why? Because it causes respiratory and musculoskeletal paralysis. There are many who die because, if your muscles are paralyzed, you cannot breathe.

Capsicum

How can you avoid food poisoning?
You can avoid food poisoning, if you're aware that capsicum (red pepper) is an irritant and a deadly, exotic poison — if you consume approximately 9 gram of it in one sitting.

However, you can avoid food poisoning, if you eat capsicum only in moderation; and if you never force capsicum into the nostrils or the mouth of anyone.

The issue is, when ingested in sufficient quantities, capsicum acts as an irritant and poison. The usual symptoms are a burning sensation in the mouth, throat and stomach, vomiting, and diarrhea.

The major toxic symptoms are salivation, erythema of the skin, a staggering gait, and slowing of respiration — often leading to difficult and labored breathing, blueness of skin, tremor, convulsions, and death. ...More >>
