"I will live longer!"Smokers tend to live longer than the non-smokers.
- If you're a smoker,
secondary smoke is usually not a problem.
because your body quickly compensates for and thrives on any secondary smoke.
Therefore, if you're a smoker, you will live longer.
- Issue: Despite the steady stream of misinformation by the mainstream media,
most smokers keep smoking into old age.
While the average lifespan of U.S. males is 78 years,
there are many male smokers who live to be 90 and older.
- Issue: Smokers live longer because I had a grandfather
who kept smoking into the old age of 88 years.
I also had male acquaintances who have never smoked, but died very young.
- Issue: The average American smokes only 19 cigarettes per day,
per 100 population —
see WHO stats.
However, if we make a list countries in the Western World that are bigger smokers than the U.S., we find 19 such countries (Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherland, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom).
They smoke up to 41 cigarettes per day per 100 population — see the WHO stats.
However, despite their significantly greater use of tobacco, the average Austrian, Belgian, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Irish, Italian, Japanese, Luxembourg, Maltese, Norwegian, Portugese, Spanish, Swedish, Swiss, or British citizen lives up to 5 years longer than the average American — see the WHO stats.
Therefore, just tell yourself that "I will live longer!"
