Stopping the refined sugar

How do you prevent gum disease? Stop all refined sugar, sugary foods, ice cream, and sugar-laden soft drinks. Why? Because refined sugar is a highly addictive drug. It even looks like a drug (white powder). Unless you count the "empty calories", the nutritional value of refined sugar is zero. Refined sugar is definitely bad for you. Refined sugar causes more harm than tobacco. Don't let the "legal" status of it mislead you!

The issue is, refined sugar feeds the (plaque) bacteria that cause gum disease, abscessed teeth, and tooth decay. (2) (3) (4)

Refined sugar feeds candida yeast. Refined sugar increases chronic fatigue. Refined sugar increases the symptoms of PMS. Refined sugar makes kids hyperactive. Refined sugar increases anxiety and irritability. Refined sugar increases and intensifies the symptoms of anxiety and panic attacks.

Refined sugar triggers hunger and binge eating. Refined sugar makes it difficult to lose weight A) because refined sugar is an appetite stimulant, and B) because the constantly high insulin levels cause the body to store excess carbs as fat. Refined sugar is also a cancer feeder. (1)

Treating your symptoms

The issue is, if you brush and floss, you treat only your symptoms.

Examples: You treat only your symptoms, if you go to dentists and dental hygienists. You treat only your symptoms, if you get fillings, root canal treatments, dental implants, dental bridges, and or gum surgeries.

Treating your symptoms is a necessity.
However, if you're smart, you concentrate on prevention.
