Why do I get tired after I eat carbs? Page 3 of 5

The bias, the push, and the addiction

Question: If carbs are so bad for you, then why do you consume them? Because:
  • It's the high-carb diet that is pushed (promoted, advertised) by the mainstream media, mainstream nutritionists and mainstream medical doctors. Why? Because they're trained to represent the interests of Big Agra, Big Pharma and the Cancer Industry.

  • These special interest groups invested big money in the high-carb, heart disease and high cholesterol hypotheses. Therefore they want you to be on a high-carb, low-fat (HCLF) low-cholesterol diet.

  • These special interest groups don't care when your HCLF diet gives you short bursts of nervous energy, immediately followed by long periods of low energy when your body tries to bring things back to normal. Apparently these special interest groups want you to be tired and sick. Why? Because the sicker you are, the more you need them. And the more you need them, the more money they can make off of you.

  • Mainstream media subtly (and not so subtly) diss, disparage and downplay the low-carb and no-carb (LCHF) diet. Therefore — despite mountains of evidence demonstrating its superiority — the LCHF diet continues to have difficulty gaining traction. How do the media get paid? Advertising revenue. Just follow the money!

  • It's the HCLF diet that is aggressively pushed (promoted, advertised) by food retailers. Examples: Malls are filled with kiosks hawking fruit juices, cinnamon buns, bagels and soft pretzels. Supermarkets prominently display nothing but HCLF (fruits and vegetables) at their entrances.

  • Carbs (and the HCLF diet) are addictive. They're addictive because (a) they increase your appetite, (b) you love them, desire them, and feel you can't live without them. And because (c) within minutes of consuming them you find yourself on a neuroendocrine roller coaster.
The one good thing about this is the prices of protein foods. Imagine what would happen to the prices of proteins foods if suddenly everyone all over the world started eating low-carb.

The mainstream experts

Mainstream nutritionists and medical doctors:
  • Are poorly trained as to what foods are good for us. They're
  • Trained to represent the interests of Big Agra, Big Pharma and the Cancer Industry; and
  • Live in fear of being reported for malpractice, if they correctly advise their patients to eat a no-carb or low-carb diet.
Therefore, without much thinking, they selfishly and erroneously mislead us when they:
  • Promote high-carb diets,
  • Assert that we "need carbs",
  • Assert that "only the simple carbs" and "only the high glycemic index carbs are destructive".
However, contrary to their misleading assertions, there is a mountain of objective, scientific evidence demonstrating that carbs:
  • Aren't needed,
  • Are destructive,
  • Increase your appetite,
  • Cause cancer and many other diseases, and
  • Feed your cancerous tumors. (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) (6) (7) ...More >>
